WES MCCALLUM is an ordained minister with degrees in Bible and theology. His skills include pastoral care, preaching, teaching, worship leading, and administration. He has received various leadership recognitions for excellence in ministry.

Recently, he has served in transitional ministry at a church plant in Georgia and also at a traditional church in Indiana. His leadership has brought unity, vision, and revitalization to these congregations.

Previously, he served for 18 years as a pastor in Ulster County, New York where the worship attendance grew from 30 to 140 people weekly with double services. His ministry has been effective in reaching singles, families, professionals, and multi-ethnic people. He also has led a congregation through employment lay-offs, community downsizing, and economic decline.

He is a life-long learner committed to prayer, study, and spiritual discipline. His preaching, teaching, writing, and worship leading is relevant and scriptural. He has mentored many spiritually mature lay leaders and pastors.

He has served his district as a member and secretary of many boards and committees including the District Boards of Administration (DBA); Ministerial Development (DBMD); and Evangelism and Church Growth (E&CG). He has served as a worship leader in numerous churches, camps, and conferences.

Formerly, he traveled as a General Evangelist preaching in hundreds of churches in 45 states and Canada.  He is a founding member of The Fellowship of Wesleyan Evangelists; Second Nature Ministries, and the Ulster County Evangelical Pastor’s Association. His personal interests include history, theology, music, nature, art, and travel.

PATTI MCCALLUM serves as a Minister of Spiritual Formation.  She completed a Bachelor of Music degree and certification in Christian education. Her skills include music, teaching, and administration. Her leadership recognitions include several District Sunday School awards.

As a musician she has experience with choirs, orchestras, and praise teams. As the national TNT director for Wesleyan Teen’s in Talent, she has directed competitions in art, drama, and music.  She has awarded college scholarships and trained youth for ministry. Patti has directed community outreach events that have reached hundred of people through pageants, cantatas, and nativities.

As a minister of education she has experience leading small groups, youth, young adults, and women. She is an excellent teacher, administrator, mentor, and counselor. She has written curriculum and led various youth weekends.

As a violinist she has served with various orchestras, chamber ensembles, and string quartets. She is also a photographer and has worked as a photo lab manager.

WES & PATTI MCCALLUM are students of worship with exposure to various music traditions and trends. They reach people through a variety of expressions: from blended to contemporary – classical to liturgical – spontaneous to structured worship. They encourage participatory and expressive worship.

Together, they are faithful to their Wesleyan heritage and theology.  They have also ministered in various other denominations.  Their ministry appeals to youth, singles, families, professionals, and multi-ethnic people. They especially enjoy mentoring young adults.

Wes and Patti have a “missionary spirit”. Twice they have served in church planting. They have ministered in a metropolitan area as well as in small town ministry. They have a special desire to reach multi-cultural and international people.  They are servants with a contemporary view of outreach, ministry, and worship.
